Projects
Artsenta has a wide range of art, craft and music projects to try. You can come to Artsenta and get started on a project that interests you or you can enjoy some inspiraton and guidance by joining in on one of our regular creative sessions.
Once you decide that you want to attend, a staff member will make an Art Plan with you. This is a chance to discuss your interests and how we can help you be creative. People's projects at Artsenta are amazingly varied.
Artsenta is a place to try new things and learn new skills and works for both people who have limited experience as well as people already making music or art. We can provide resources and support to extend what you already know or you can book into a creative session.
As well as your own creative projects, Artsenta organises occasional trips to galleries and other places of inspiration. We hold events, concerts and participate in happenings like the Dunedin Fringe Festival and Mental Health Awareness Week. We also exhibit artists' work in the wider community both as group shows and individual exhibitions. Many of our artists are members of the Otago Art Society.
