I started getting into making chainmail in late 2017 after watching several videos on the internet. I was really happy with the results and just kept going. I've made ties, chandalier, chainmail wrapped dragon eyes, a snake, crosses, e.t.c and recently I have been exploring chainmail dream catchers.I enjoy chainmail as there are endless possibilities of what you can make from it. Mainly I use steel for most of my chainmail work but have been testing out different materials like copper and aluminium. It is rather time consuming, cutting and bending each ring by hand, linking and weaving them together piece by piece, but I find it theraputic, relaxing and enjoyable. After spending a while making it, I really enjoy seeing the end result.
